Mission Statement

LAPS is dedicated to helping control pet overpopulation through spay / neuter funding, as well as, assisting qualified pet owners who live or work in our community with unexpected veterinary bills.

In 2022, LAPS funding provided:

Over $30,000 in medical assistance to qualified members of our community to help their companion animals.

412 $100 vouchers to help citizens of Summit county defray the cost of spay/neuter procedures

Over 204 spay / neuter surgeries at our County Animal Shelter preventing over 1000 unwanted animals in shelters.

Thank you town of frisco for allowing us to be your nonprofit of the week at the Concert july 13th.  So much fun and amazing support from the town!

Our dog party with the summit county animal shelter at outer range brewery in frisco was soooo much fun.  thank you staff for helping us raise money and adopt animals.  Bird craft dog treats were amazing.

Our thanks to these local businesses who have sponsored this years 33rd Annual K94K!

LAPS is currently an all volunteer organization.  We need board members to work as a team to implement programs that will fulfill our goals of supporting our local animal shelter as well as people who live or work in Summit County.  These programs are critical to our community and will suffer without volunteers to assist.
